This raised bed planting kit includes 4ea. 4' long x 7" high un-treated cedar boards, 4 ea. powder coated galvannealed steel corner brackets, stainless steel carriage bolt hardware, and planting grid, to make a 4' x 4' on-the-ground raised bed.
This raised bed sits on top of your existing soil, there is no bottom to this planter; it is open to your ground. The handy cedar square foot planting grid that lays on top of this planter box is included. It can either remain on your garden bed or removed and folded up for easy storage.
The thick galvannealed and powder-coated corner brackets and carriage bolt assembly make this raised bed planter sturdier and longer lasting than the rest. Since the carriage bolts go through the cedar board and not screwed into the wood you do not have to worry about the boards cracking or coming apart in the rain, snow or heat; the corners will not pull apart. The planting grid helps you to lay out your garden according to square-foot gardening guidelines and methods.
